Our story

🌟 Our Story: For Him and Others Like Him

Spectrum Genius Inc. was born out of love, determination, and a vision for a better future. My son, Damein Jr. (DJ), is a bright, creative, and talented young man on the autism spectrum. Every day, I see his potential — his ability to solve problems, his unique way of thinking, and his resilience. But I also see the challenges he faces in a world that too often overlooks or misunderstands individuals like him.

As his father, I couldn’t stand by and wait for opportunities to appear. I realized that if DJ — and others like him — were going to have a place to belong, thrive, and be celebrated, we had to create it ourselves. That’s why Spectrum Genius Inc. exists: to build pathways to employment, independence, and inclusion for individuals with autism.

Our flagship program, the Autism Empowerment Car Wash, isn’t just about washing cars. It’s about creating real jobs, teaching real skills, and proving that people on the spectrum are valuable contributors to their communities. It’s about dignity, independence, and pride.

This mission is deeply personal. It’s for DJ, and it’s for every parent who wants their child to be seen for their strengths, not their struggles. It’s for every individual on the spectrum who deserves not just awareness, but opportunity.

Spectrum Genius Inc. is more than an organization — it’s a movement of love, inclusion, and empowerment. For DJ, and others like him.

Our history

The Life & Legacy of Londyn Richie (Elise Long)

On April 28th, at 4:28 in the morning, my world forever changed. My sister, my best friend, and one of the brightest lights in our family, Elise Mona Long—known to many as Londyn Richie—passed away after a courageous battle with Stage IV breast cancer. Her fight was fierce, her spirit unbreakable, and even in her most difficult moments, she carried herself with grace, love, and determination.

Londyn was more than a sister—she was a visionary, entrepreneur, and leader. As the founder of The Progressor, she built a business empire rooted in credit repair, business funding, and real estate. She didn’t just achieve success for herself; she empowered countless others to rise above financial struggles and find freedom. Her life was a testament to resilience, ambition, and service to others.

Even in the face of cancer, Londyn never let her purpose fade. She inspired me to keep going, to dream bigger, and to make a difference. That’s why today, through Spectrum Genius Inc. and the Londyn Richie Cancer Foundation, we are carrying her legacy forward.

We will teach financial literacy in her honor—making sure families understand credit, funding, and wealth-building, just as she taught her clients. We will empower individuals with autism and those facing hardships to achieve independence and opportunity. And we will ensure that Londyn’s story continues to inspire hope, courage, and action for generations to come.

Though her life was cut short, her impact is eternal. Every car wash we open, every training we provide, and every family we help is a reflection of her strength and the love she left behind.

Londyn’s legacy is not just about the life she lived—it’s about the lives she continues to change through us.
