About us

Spectrum Genius Inc. was born from a deeply personal journey — inspired by my son, Damein Jr. (DJ), who is autistic, brilliant, and uniquely gifted. As his father, I witnessed both the challenges and the extraordinary potential that so many individuals on the spectrum carry.

Too often, society overlooks their abilities, leaving families searching for a place where their children can feel valued, included, and empowered.

Our mission is to create that place by providing meaningful opportunities through employment, vocational training, financial literacy, and community programs that foster independence and dignity.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, we are a non-profit committed to helping individuals with autism unlock their full potential and thrive in every aspect of life.

Our impact

At Spectrum Genius Inc. impact is measured in more than numbers - it's seen in the growth, confidence, and independence of individuals we serve. From hands-on job training and financial literacy workshops to community events that build inclusion, our programs empower autistic young adults to step into the world with purpose.

Each car wash fundraiser, skill-building session, and partnership opportunity creates a ripple effect:

  • Families gain hope
  • Communities grow stronger
  • Individuals on the spectrum discover their voice, value, and potential.

Our team

The Spectrum Genius team blends personal commitment, lived experience, and professional expertise to makes our work truly impactful.

As Executive Director, I lead with the perspective of a father to DJ, my autistic son, ensuring our programs remain rooted in real family needs and authentic inclusion.

Our founding team also carries forward the legacy of my late sister, Elise “Londyn Richie” Long-a respected entrepreneur and community builder whose vision for financial literacy and empowerment continues to shape our programs today.

Together with board members who bring decades of organizational leadership, financial stewardship, and community engagement, Spectrum Genius combines heart, business acumen, and nonprofit discipline to drive meaningful change for the autism community.

Our future goals

Our ultimate vision for Spectrum Genius is to create recreation and job training centers that serve as hubs of inclusion, skill-building, and empowerment for individuals with autism.

In the near term, we are expanding our Autism Empowerment Car Wash model and vocational training programs to provide immediate opportunities for employment and independence.

Over time, these initiatives will grow into full-service centers that bring together life skills training, financial literacy, recreational programs, and family support under one roof.

By building scalable, replicable models, we aim to transform communities locally and globally — ensuring that individuals on the spectrum are not only supported but celebrated for their unique strengths.
